MUSCAT: The third edition of the 2026 Military Discipline Programme concluded at the Military Technical College organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth with the support of military, security and other government institutions.


The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr Khamis bin Saif al Jabri, Minister of Economy.


The ceremony featured a marching display by participating students, showcasing the discipline, organisation and teamwork developed during the programme.


The students also demonstrated commando and self-defence skills, displaying proficiency, speed and precision in executing movements and formations. The performances reflected the practical training and military skills acquired during the programme.


Participants received training in a range of military knowledge and skills, alongside awareness lectures, sports competitions and other related activities aimed at strengthening discipline, commitment and self-reliance.


The closing ceremony was attended by Their Highnesses and Excellencies, leaders and senior officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other military and security agencies, members of the State Council and senior government officials. – ONA
